What makes Pure Life Acupuncture different is our unique research based therapy strategies.  Although it's almost counter intuitive to think of Acupuncture as a science, or that research has been done on its effects, the truth is that there have been thousands of incredible clinical, double blind, and meta-analysis research studies. Scientists have undeniable evidence on the positive effects of Acupuncture on our body and brain.  In fact, the validity of these studies have opened the eyes of many mainstream medical practitioners, and insurance companies. All of this makes Dr. Dean's Pure Life Acupuncture therapy a little different. You see, we are not a high patient volume practice, and this is by design.  While most practices may see 5, 7, even 10 patients per hour, our practice sees a maximum of three.   We practice patient-centered healthcare meaning that we treat each person with dignity and respect.  We involve you in the decisions about your own health by educating you about your condition, what your medical options are, and what the best possible solution for you and your family will be.  We pledge that if you do not feel that Acupuncture treatments or Herbal medicine is the right choice, we will help you find the correct one. If after your initial evaluation is made and we don't feel Acupuncture or herbal medicine is the proper treatment for you, we will tell you, and make recommendation's on what to do next.    We ask our patients for feedback each treatment day.  Comfort level, body positioning, needle insertion technique, how patient's feel directly after, hours after and then days after treatment.  All of these factor into an effective therapeutic Acupuncture treatment.  Our treatments will vary based on your comfort level, and the patterns diagnosed, and may change week to week based on these conditions.  Usually no two treatments will be exactly the same, and many times, different adjunctive therapies will be used. We will always tell you our strategy, and ask you to help us stay with that plan.  Some plans may be 2 or 3 treatments, while others may be 2-3 treatments per week for months.  There most likely will be "homework" because becoming healthy again is  truly going to be up to you.  We give our patients  the knowledge and the tools to succeed and urge ALL of them to become the most important cog in the wheel of their health.  We look forward to helping our community become healthy and achieve their individual health goals.  We accept most insurance, and have many affordable package plans for our patients to accomplish these goals.  There are many great health providers out there.  Thank you for giving Pure Life Acupuncture a chance to help you.
